This was a unique Wedding Photographer experience where I was asked to shoot the Pre Wedding Party and Post Wedding Party for Yasmin and Anthony.

I really valued being able to photograph these two events for them as I felt like I was able to go on this amazing journey with them over the few days of events. Even so I was able to give them some pointers to help them get the most of their wedding day that they later shared with me was so helpful.

Weddings are a beautiful season as it's not just about the love shared between the couple, but all their family and friends too. So in this gallery you will see a combination of photos that capture the love between Yasmin and Anthony, their family and friends.

A Quick 10 minute shoot/dance/dash through the streets.

I didn't want to take Yasmin and Anthony away from their party with their family and friends who have travelled across the world to be with them. So I suggested we do a quick 10 minute dash through the streets of Sydney where we could do a little shoot together.

I researched this cute little street just 50m away from the venue that we raced to and even though it was only 10 minutes the photos were beautiful.

My prompt for them was:

  1. You have been together for so many years and have already established this beautiful connection, simply be yourselves and embrace how you normally would embrace each other when walking the streets.

  2. Have fun, play, dance, do what ever you like together.

Simple as that and this is what we got!

A Final Elevator Shoot

Post Wedding Party

The Day after Yasmin and Anthonys wedding I was asked to return to photograph their after party, this was very special as even though I had another wedding to shoot on the same day as theres I was able to reconnect with everyone, and hear how their special day was.

Afterwards I took Yasmin and Anthony out for one last quick shoot underneath this gorgeous fig tree. I was aware they had already had such a big weekend full of all the festivities, so I simply asked them to stand there together and not say anything, just feel what ever emotions come up whilst together.

This turned into such a beautiful moment as they both began getting emotional whilst staring into each others eyes, with so much love for one another.
