Capturing a wedding is the greatest gift to someone who loves witnessing humanity in all it's forms. Even after a decade plus of photographing weddings my passion and heart towards what I do has only grown more every year, feeling the best is still yet to come.
I believe the biggest desire people have in life, and in particular couples on their wedding day, is to feel seen. Like someone has taken the time to notice them and given them a sense of feeling special in that moment in time.
To do this well as a photographer I believe requires a massive ability to emotionally empathise with everyone, to recognise what they value from the relationships around them to the smallest details on their wedding day. Then capture all this beauty that feels personal to a couple that you then give to them as a unique, one of a kind gallery that doesn't just showcase their wedding day but everything that they value most in this world.
This to me is the work of a great wedding photographer.
